Modern

Modern upholstery uses foam, staples and glue and is a quicker practice than traditional upholstery. Expect your pieces to last around 10 - 15 years before the foam begins to degrade.

Traditional

Traditional upholstery uses natural fibres such as coconut coir & animal fibre as padding, with hand stitched edges to create structure and comfort. Traditional upholstery often outlasts the frames they are on and can last decades, if not over a century befoer needing to be reupholstered.

Recover

The process of simply removing the old fabric and replacing with new, leaving the inside upholstery as it is.
